During disassembly, it turned out that the use of hard water led to the formation of scale and burnout of the regulator contacts as a result of a short circuit. When choosing a new iron, only TEFAL models were considered, since the two previous ones proved to be reliable "long-livers". Quickly enough, I chose TEFAL FV 5715 Easygliss 2, the price of which in the ONLINETRADE store was 500 rubles less than in the official TEFAL online store. The iron is packed in a box made of glossy medium density cardboard with an iron image and the main technical characteristics: power 2400 W, continuous steam 45 g / min, steam boost 190 g / min. I was somewhat surprised that the iron was placed inside the box even without a protective plastic bag.
