Nissan Quest 2005 White
I skated on Nissan Quest for three years, impressions are good, especially the interior, a good transformer - a flat floor to the driver's seats - and that's 260 cm, when the seats are standing - you can move freely, I have never seen anything like this in any car. For repairs, how you drive - if you strain, there will be questions with brake discs, front stabilizer struts, fuel consumption. If you drive calmly and in pleasure, the car serves well and the consumption corresponds to the passport, at 80-90 miles an hour - 12 liters. The doors open well, periodically it is necessary to wash the WD40 from the dust from the bearings, otherwise the sensors start to work. The body is noisy, with noise insulation and ventilation is rather weak in winter, in cold weather it tightens the glass, enough, of course, but on the verge. There were electrical failures with the Nissan Quest engine - replacing the accelerator pedal (sensor) and replacing the camshaft position sensor. There was also a replacement of shock absorbers and the front hub of the right-hitting more than 100 thou Nissan Quest 2005 White sand km. I took it - the mileage was 100 thousand km. So whoever likes it, take it - you won't regret it.
Advantages: interior transformation. Comfort.
Disadvantages: insulation.
If we give an overall assessment of the Nissan Quest on a 5-point scale, then I would give 3 with a plus. Has already been under warranty repair twice due to defects in the fuel system; within a month the engine started getting worse and worse. Checking at the service showed low gasoline pressure (a gradual drop in pressure in the system a few hours after the engine was turned off). The gas pump was quickly replaced and a fountain pen was presented. A couple of months later, once, when starting a warm engine, he did not give a single flash, and the cabin smelled strongly of fresh gasoline. I called the same service, and, although it was not their zone, they took the car for repair. Somehow they found the place of the fuel leak - some trifling clamp on the gas line failed. This time they kept the car for 3 days and did not give anything. When the time, more precisely the mileage, approached the second service (about 7000 miles), a slight vibration began to appear on the steering wheel with weak braking - it is clear that there is something with the front brakes. After a complaint during the service, the front discs were sanded - the vibration disappeared to reappear after another 7000 miles. Judging by the systematic manifestation, this is a permanent factory defect (and this despite the fact that I drive mainly on highways and use little brakes).
But what is most unnerving is the fuel consumption: the plant lists mileage in city-highway cycles in the range of 19-26 mpg, in fact much worse - 14-22. The previous Quest model even exceeded the declared economy, but the new one is just frustrating; and this is with the constantly growing price of gasoline! Due to the very low ground clearance and a very large base, you need to be very careful when driving through even the smallest obstacles; some entrances to underground garages must be driven diagonally to avoid being caught by the muffler and other parts. With such dimensions, it was difficult to expect very good maneuverability, but the turning radius of 12 meters makes parking very attentive.
Pluses: salon. Powerful engine. Comfort.
Disadvantages: fuel consumption. Clearance. Unreliable fuel system.
The Nissan Quest is a family-style mid-size minivan with 7 passenger seats. The first modifications of the minivan were created on the basis of the American Mercury Villager, and did not have special external data, however, as well as good driving characteristics. A few years later, engineers and designers at Nissan Motor created a minivan, the appearance of which is already a subject for many hours of discussion. The 2003 Nissan Quest is based on the Altima platform. The exterior of the Nissan Quest cannot be compared with any other model - the car looks very extravagant. A feature of the interior of the Nissan Quest is the information panel located in the center of the dashboard. Automatic gearbox moved to dashboard - very convenient location. Overall, the Nissan Quest's cabin is very spacious and comfortable. The seats are arranged in 3 rows. Each seat has an armrest and a seat belt.
Equipped the Nissan Quest with a V-shaped, 6-cylinder 3.5-liter engine. Not every business-class sedan can boast of such a powerful unit. The Nissan
